          Terms and conditions:

  • If your pet is not available within 20 minutes of your grooming time, without contacting us, we reserve the right to reschedule your slot and charge a cancellation fee.
  • If your pet has a matted (tangled) coat, attempting to brush it out will lead to pain and discomfort. We will clip and remove the damaged coat, if necessary, as part of the grooming process.
  • We will never sedate nor will we accept pets under sedation.
  • Sick pets with Kennel Cough, Ringworm, Mites or any serious medical or skin issues will not be able to be groomed until treated and cleared by a licensed veterinarian.  Puppies or kittens not fully vaccinated are susceptible to sickness and will not be allowed in our vans as a ​cautionary measure.  If your pet fits any of the above criteria, please let us know when making an appointment, for their safety, the safety of other pets that visit our vans, and us.
  • Elderly pets need special attention and patience. Longer grooming times may be needed. If you suspect your senior will have pain or any other issues, please inform us while making your appointment.  If we feel your pet can not stand too long or may have other problems in our care, we may suggest another option for grooming.
  • Although Scissors and Sudz will take responsible care in the grooming of your pet, you acknowledge that the stress of grooming may initiate or exacerbate medical problems in your pet. You agree not to hold the groomer or Scissors and Sudz Mobile Pet Grooming responsible for any reactions your pet may have to the grooming process. We are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions, known or unknown, or the aggravation of those conditions. Although extremely unlikely, accidents can happen during grooming. In the event of an accident or serious issue, you will be notified. If needed, you authorize us to seek emergency veterinary treatment at your expense. Any adverse reactions to our natural products, or other concerns should be reported to the groomer within 24 hours of service.
  • Photos are taken before and after grooming which are used to assist in future grooms, advertising our services and/or posting to our social media sites. Most clients enjoy their pet highlighted on our site. Please let us know ahead of time if you do not wish your pet's photos be made public.
  • We photograph every case of neglect brought before us and we may save a sample of fur. We reserve the right to use these items as we deem appropriate.
  • Scissors and Sudz Mobile Pet Grooming reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, at the sole discretion of the groomer.
  • During our 24+ years experience grooming pets, we have learned to recognize many medical issues such as:  ear infections, tumors, and other skin conditions, and changes in the appearance or personality of your pet.  We will tell you if we suspect a condition to monitor or will recommend you take your pet to the vet for further observation or testing. We do this because of our love for animals and we only want the best for them.  We are not professionally qualified to treat or diagnose any conditions and our advise should only be taken as information for you to go further into your own research or veterinarian services.   We are not responsible for missing or not diagnosing problems or issues concerning your pet. Please visit your vet regularly.  P

            

             Privacy statement: Any information we collect on you or your pet will be used for internal purposes only. We will not sell or otherwise share your 

             information with any other outside agency or business.
